Wednesday (krystin)

-the application notice is on facebook, twitter, whiteboard, website, commJ.

- Worked on the list below.

-I brought a USB and designated it as our special ppt one haha. It is in the top drawer, but the MARCH ppt is NOT yet loaded on it.

-We got a contract from MacReation but I did not do anything for it yet. It is in the purple binder.

-We have to do the internal transfer for TheWeeknd, in the binder, she added stuff to the one I did to accommodate wages. We need to add a polite reminder on the bottom of it to tell us about tickets in advance.

TO DO this week:
-Matthew Harker is going to email us a time and date he will pick up his Coach tickets. Once we know we can leave them at the desk for him to pick up and let the staff know to fill out the pick up contract. The tickets are still in the bottom drawer in an envelope with a ticket contract and his name on it - March 6 @ 1100
-FB & twitter updates for both events
-posting job application openings on website, FB & Twitter
-Thank yous to transportation reps for promo donations
-March PPT

Tuesday (krystin)

-I did the internal transfer for the Charity Ball tickets finally. Signed and submitted.

-I also did the contract and internal transfer for The Weeknd tix. Debbie has both, but she has to finish yesterday's rec for everything before she can sign off on it

-I have been calling Matt for the past week with no luck, and he does not have voicemail, so Debbie told me just to email him apologizing that it was being done via email but that we were unable to reach him otherwise. So my list of calls is now complete, and Debbie will send out an email with the new management to staff once we know that both lists are complete.

-I got an email from Cameron Love, but he only gave us a date there, and not a return, so I asked for that. Also, he said Saturday March 2nd, but the Saturday is the 3rd so I am waiting to hear back to confirm. Hopefully that is not too soon for them to process the ticket for him?
EDIT: He emailed back, so I forwarded it all to Jan and the lady she was talking to about it.

-I emailed Student Liaison regarding March break tours, you can read the correspondence between Edgar and them, but basically they're not doing much that we can get involved in, I just let them know that we are interested in them including us in their tour and to let us know if there is any info we can provide

-We scheduled a management meeting next Wednesday March 7 from 10:30-11:30 to talk about cross training. Edgar has sent emails to Sehar and Laura inviting them to this meeting, and then we can pick training dates from there.

-I got the Bulldogs tickets and 1G3G tickets all out and good to go



TO DO this week:

Insanity

That was intense. As I am writing this at 3:10 we sold 74 guest and 321 student, so a nice pace actually.

Pangaea brought their tickets but both sets say day performance, so i emailed him to clarify and fix it before we get them out. They're in the back office, contracts distributed.

- Worked on the website all day, this stupid calendar is a pain in the ***

- Lots of people didnt know about the GO fare hike. I will print more of those mini flyers (but we need to add the website for people that dont have facebook or twitter) and we will get CSR's to hand them out with every transaction with the receipt.

yay weekend. My reading week sucked big time, poo :(

-Felicia had a customer issue after you left where she gave out a voided ticket to a customer instead of the one they paid for, so if that customer comes back next week while we're here, we can issue them the ticket that their receipt says they paid for.

-I called Sehar, she swung by for a bit to chat

-I brought the GO stuff down, wrote in commJ for it, and made deposit slip

-updated the ppt (couldn't find a USB, but I know I have an extra one at home I can bring to designate for IC use only.

-stocked and filled the desk, wrote a commJ note for closure.
Thursday (Athena)

- Messaged Daphne from Habitat to see if she can come in to get her bulldogs tickets organized

- emailed jennifer back, she will be coming by at 4:20 to the desk to pick up her go voucher. We will have to leave a note for the CSR working that shift to check her ID and also confirm with the CSR that they cannot give her any money back for the voucher if she doesnt use the full value

-Haha Karl mentioned you guys were confused as to why I made a post at 545 in the morning... I was bored, and there was another hour and a half until my night shift ended haha. Last night on my shift I added that guests have to be signed in to the website and to the commj

-There is a new hiring folder under Training Video, but it is hidden so obvi you have to show hidden files before using it

-I posted on FB and twitter about MoT and the fare increase

-checked voicemail, nadda

-I saw Edgar or someone cleaned, this calendar is ugly here. I printed off more forms for our folder, we were running low particularly on contracts

-nothing exciting, I'll see you in the morning all sleep deprived and grumpy ;)
Wednesday (Athena)

- Updated the website with the Coach Canada schedule changes for reading week. Those stupid schedules are so hard to read! Updated both the main page and the coach page for the website

- Updated comm journal with the same info

- Debbie wanted to make "FARE INCREASE" flash for GO transit on the powerpoint so I did that. I also changed your slide for the trial at mac because since the image was just copy and pasted it was really hard to read the date/time of the event.

- started reading through the IC manual and updated as I went along.

- Working on the summer manual

- Nisha is coming in for her appt at 11:30 to do the creative part.

I talked to Debbie, so since you won't be there for a big chunk we're gunna just do both days, so you can let her know what IC hours you wanna do Tues and Thurs instead. I spent a lot of the shift going over the questions and making plans for tomorrow

I did the McMaster on Trial ticket stuff, emailed Al to find out about the guest thing. I was rushy so I don't have time to USB save the slideshow and put it downstairs before I leave, I can do it tomorrow

Fri (krystin)

I came in earlier again today cause it worked better with my schedule. I'm leaving for Ellicottville for the weekend at noon.

-I was an idiot and left yesterday without adding the SocSci tickets to the RMS, I made a mental note to do it or ask you to do it on this computer and just didn't. Go me. So Karl did it makeshift without filling out the boxes etc. and I fixed it all this morning

-I did the rest of the stuff for the ticket sales (the checklist is now complete, muahaha)

-Some guy from Degroote called and is looking to advertise to students about discount tickets for some golf open. He was calling for some random person who works for the MSU and for whatever reason decided this was the number to call. I let him know that if they are interested in selling tickets then we can help him, but he wasn't interested, which is a bummer cause those tickets ain't cheap. So I transferred him to the main desk in hopes she will know who to send him to.

-I made a P.O. for the list of stuff we wanted. Edgar just has to fill out how many he wants of his stuff. I ordered us a paper cutter and pencils. I left it on the desk for Edgar to finish

-So I screwed up my schedule for today so I came in at 1 instead of 10, so you will be here for most of this shift anyways..

-Apparently there's been quite a few people asking at the desk about "McMaster on Trial" that is happening at 1280 on Feb 29. I found it on the Campus Events website saying presale will be at Compass, so I emailed Al about it

- I made the break down of budget for the IC manual and put it into the manual

I logged out of the computer yesterday without publishing, so here it is:

-new schedule for next week has been sent to everyone and posted where it needs to be. I saved our schedule for the week after reading week on the server if you ever need to change it or see it

-bulletin board is done, I did a quick sellig tickets side to it as well

-I made a picture poster thing and emailed it out to our  MSU club address list I also printed a few copies of it out, have one up here on the bulletin board for club people who come through here as well as one at the desk on the middle bulletin board

-I spent a lot of time trying to figure out that schedule. Edgar put his two cents in the whole thing. We can chat tomorroww

-Edgar offered to check if the room has been booked for the interviews yet, I can't remember if Debbie had said she booked the days or not, so we shall see. He said he'll book it for us if not.

-I posted on the website the times for the reading week, but we need to find out when Debbie returns whether we will be closing the desk for those days for lunch from 12:30-1:30 like in the summer.

-I also put the staff meeting closure on the website

-Sandro was poking around the comm room, maybe they're doing some stuff around here
Tues (Athena)

- Just worked on the website today, there is literally nothing for us to do.

- can you send me your schedule before sending it to debbie/edgar or let me know when you are planning on taking days off? Debbie wants me to be sure im in on those days that you arent here since there is no point in us both being in for 6 hours total and both of us not being here on one of the other days, so I have to make sure that my schedule doesnt change when you are off so that one of us is here.

-Looks like you've been busy!

-I put the fashion show on facebook and twitter. I also started a checklist and went through to make sure it was all done. I emailed Debbie and SS, did float sheets, EOD, and commJ asked someone to add to whiteboard

-Pretty sure they're not allowed to sell tickets in the student centre ps... they can get booted from the premise if it's not approved by MUSC admin, they have to go through us. Did you guys talk about them selling?

-You should have just left the charity ball counting and fashion show stuff for me to do, cause now I have minimal stuff to do and can't do your summer manual or website :S

-Nothing else significant happened, just had to go down and help Erin with refunds and exchanges for GO a couple of times. I had to go and help Clyde earlier too (it's not THAT hard)

-I took myself off the clock at 3 instead of 3:30 'cause I didn't wanna sit around and make up stuff to do
Monday (Athena)

- Received the advertising stuff from invisible children, finished the powerpoint for them and website advertising. Still waiting on the FAQ sheet. Will put tickets on sale today, contract is already at the desk

- comm post made re. LGBTQ education events happening this week and the fashion show. Removed old comm posts about charity ball and took down the website cball stuff and the ppt stuff

- collected the charity ball tickets and am doing a physical count now. They will be in the locked cupboard, ill let Al know the uncomfirmed number once I count them
- Coffee cup promo is done, took down advertising for that

Thursday/Friday - Athena

- I just ended up calling Jess, she said that they sold the 1300 unusually quickly and that we can do a quarter of a box of sleeves or just leave some stickers at the desk for people to take when they pay for their purchases. Instead of adding more on, Ill just bring down the stickers for people to pick up from the till.

- emailed L.S. for the IC position. She called us back and when I called back she was in class lol so I emailed her the info. Waiting for her to confirm right now.

- made a computer copy of our interview schedule for the two days. It is in the IC folder and is protected so that the SS, desk or msu admin cannot see it lol

- printed the interview sheet off and sealed both packages. Karl took them home to debbie.
- Got a call about the Peace of Chic fashion show, made an appointment and met with them re. ticket sales. Made ppt slide but waiting for their logo to add into it

- Made a new february powerpoint

- worked on the new website a bit, starting to actually transfer info over

- talked to marn about the underground situation, she is handling it and will let us know when it is resolved (apparently the prices are different based on quantity, which is stupid because had we known that we could have just printed them all at once)

- spoke with MSU guy about nomination forms that we apparently have been providing to customers for 6 years lol. They are on the desk and contracts have been photocopied, distributed, and there is one at the desk in the display info binder

- contract filled out with invisible children mcmaster re. the fashion show. Distributed to the desk, us, and debbie.


Thurs (krystin)

-I got my phone today! YAY! I just have to hook it up lol EDIT: hooked up! same number, new pin: 23751296
-We may be getting the socsci formal ticket sales soon, so keep an eye out for an email back for that. It will be nice to have SOMETHING being sold once charity ball is over :P
-I called Marie from communications department back regarding the accenture contact that was asked from us, John got it for me.
-I fixed some of the community events links, the February one was an error
-some girl called me while I was here and wanted to inquire about selling tickets to a benefit event she was holding for a friend who was in an accident and was looking to sell tickets. She was supposed to come in at 1 to discuss further but never showed, so I'd keep an eye on our voicemail.
-I emailed Jess about the fact that there were no stickers on the sleeves yesterday, so if they're out I suggested we stick more on? We'll see what she thinks.
-I tried calling Laura again, but no luck. The other two have yet to call us back regarding the email we sent. What's the status on Alex?
-I updated Al a couple times, but you might wanna ask him when you come in when he wants tickets pulled. Since it's not a seated meal he shouldn't have to give numbers ahead of time or whatever, but it's good to ask.

-nothing more exciting happened today

-Talked to marn about hours but she didn't care, as long as we fill hours and someones here at the times that people should be here she's indifferent. She just has to know if we add or whatever hours.

-I just heard from someone that the coffee sleeves at UM don't have stickers on them :S ?? I don't have time to go down and ask, maybe they ran out? We have lots of stickers so tomorrow we should ask Jess if we can slap more on.

-Confirmed Maudj's time and tried back some of the others again. I was also able to confirm Nicole for 4pm. The 3 we have left to confirm are: Alexander (you were asking him to confirm 3:30 for a half hour interview), Laura (we have her tentatively booked for 1045 for a half hour interview on Thursday but she has no voicemail)Nisha (we have her tentatively booked for 1pm, msg left) Brittney (tentative 130, voicemail left)
