All week (Athena)
- Divinity college cheque was delayed, checked everyday and it still wasn't ready, will be ready Monday hopefully
- I cant remember if you were there or not, I think you came in at the end, but Sehar shadowed me on Monday. We went over some of the website stuff and I showed her how to edit things but let her know that the new website would be a lot different if she did get hired lol. I talked to her about the banner pens and I went through her with how to source our promo stuff, design it, compare costs, make contacts, and go about ordering it. Debbie wants that to be left for the new IC's so its all ready to go for the new people that come in but it was a good process to show her I think. Also went over summer duties that I did while I was here and how to come up with new ideas, etc.
- worked on the Transportation promo display, it ended up taking me until Thursday because Debbie suggested we make it more permanent so that they could use it next year. I made the board and made a square add on section where the prizes are listed so that next year if they get different prizes they can print a new sheet and just cover the old one. Thats at the desk covering one of the whiteboards so that we have one saying transportation promo stuff, one saying our sales, and the paper -bulletin board with HSR updates
- Charity ball sales have been doing okay, Al did a promo on Thursday that got a lot of tickets sold so we are at about 308 when I left on Friday
- The Arab something group contacted us about ticket sales to their movie night. I sent them the appropriate info and a copy of the ticket contract and tried to arrange a meeting with them on Monday but they did not get back to me. I'm assuming they will just stop by during our hours on Monday
- There was a mixup with the stressball invoice with Coyote telling us they sent the info but never actually sending it so they were not paid until this week. We aren't being charged extra since it was their fault so its not a problem, but that accounts for 800 bucks of our promo budget. We are still under budget though since when I looked over the budget stuff with marn we factored that in prior to ordering the paper cutter
- Debbie wants us to go ahead and order two banners if we have money left in the budget from Underground. She wants one horizontal one and one vertical one which we can design but she wants them pretty much permanent and to just say compass information centre and thats pretty much it. We can talk more with her about it on Monday once we go over the budget again
- I made promo signs (a double sided one for the window and one to go where the coffee sleeves are) and jess said they were fine. Brought those down to Jess on Friday evening and they agreed to put them up Saturday afternoon so that they would be ready to go for the Monday morning rush.
- On thursday Red ran out of GO stamp cards so I printed 300 more and cut them in colour so that we didnt have to manually do it. Those are down on the till with the extra GO stamp cards in the red drawer in case they run out again.
