- yes go ahead and look into that but debbie is right, leave it mostly to them if they wanna promote their own stuff its up to them
friday shift
- no im hoping to tell her today. ill go do that now.
- sent out an email to confirm the change with the guys and so its on record for everyone. debbie said its okay
CAW
- i think one of us should get a PO done for this asap and then go to the dollar store and find Styrofoam halloween shaped things (ie., similar to how we used hearts last year for valentines day, but this time we can use like a bat or pumpkin or something, we may have to put the silver marker things to write on them tho if its gunna be a black bat). we can tape chocolate onto them as well so that the customer gets a msg + a candy/chocolate --- debbie bought really good chocolates for a good price for the last CAW. we should get her to get those again when she goes to costo (to help us save costs, plus they were awesome chocolates...yummm chocolate) :)
- debbie went on lunch when i was about to ask her if i could do a PO for this for like 40$, so i just did it anyways (but i didnt get permission, bc i know she will approve it lol. I slipped it under her door for approval). so when you come in, go to her and explain our plan (decorations, styrofoam msgs, chocolates, and a table maybe too if we can get a CSR to do it). then if she approved the PO, go submit it and get the cash :)
- we should also do a raffle for a $10 compass gift certificate jsut like sabbu and I did last year but this needs approval from debbie. i made note of our entire plan (including the certificate) and slipped it under debbies door with the PO.
remember to put things away -- when you finish a cheque req (i started it but you finished it once ryan replied) you have to follow through and finish everything, which includes stapling ours together, hole punching it, and putting it in the completed contracts binder, dont leave our copies lying around because it can start to get really disorganized throughout the year and we will end up losing things which wont be good haha, thank you for handing it into that tho for me i appreciate it. I stapled/hole-punched it put it in our completed contracts binder. for ryan's copy, this is not supposed to be left on the desk (same with jessicas copy for A&R). this has to go in the cabinet in an envelope with their name on it to keep it safe. just like i always put their copy of the contract and their left over tickets in the cabinet, you should get in the habit of this too. i put jessica's in there the other day with her tickets. we need to keep everything together and in the cabinet bc if someone ever comes in when the ICs are not in, and they go to debbie, debbie wont want to run around looking on our desk and in the cabinet trying to collect everything. she wont like that lol
Christmas slide--do you have this slide ready to be put on the slide show this friday? have they paid? I tried looking through past posts that you made but i couldnt find a thing from you saying they have paid (I may have missed it though since there is so much on our com journal haha)
thanks for fixing the voicemail haha,
Scavenger hunt
- im gunna let you handle this again, but let me know if there is ever anyhting you need me to do for it. do we have the envelopes for those two new dates? or will we be getting those in the future?
pocket guides are now printing
banner pens
- approved banner design, sent to michael with PO number
Weekend warriors
- debbie was able to complete this now that month end if done, she went over the internal transfer i made on sept 23rd and made the minor change that only she could figure out after month end (these were the tickets that got super messed up during sales so we had to wait for her to finish month end).
- i went to ake the changes but the internal transfer i saved for weekend warriros is done.... so i had to do it all over again :(. I made the changes to the amounts and gave it back to her for approval
emails
- one was for advertising through compass for a new hotel (looks like a cheesy hotel TBH... Even if it was an established chain of hotels, I dont know if this is the type of thing we want associated with Compass. so i forwarded it to debbie to see how she feels about it. we shouldnt reply until we hear back from debbie. he wants to use our brochure display. if debbie says it cool then we can also offer his our LCD display options too. Go ahead and read his email so u are informed and let me know what you think. do you think it is appropriate for us to advertise this?
- i briefly read the other email (it is for a new ticket, external company) but i ran out of time to reply so i'll leave this with you to respond to tomorrow morning. i flagged it for you and marked it as unread. you can let him know everything for our ticket contract (i.e., that he has to fill it out and then set up a meeting with us and bring all the crap like tickets in bundles of 10 with a paper clip, electronic and hard copy poster, FAQ, etc).
BRAD IS COMING TOMORROW AT SOME POINT BETWEEN 11:30-3:30 SO MAKE SURE YOU WANT OUR PHONE -- HE MAY CALL -- i put that in caps lock because today is debbie's last day until next tuesday so he if comes and we arent here when we are supposed to be here we are screwed if we miss him. Once we get the tickets, start a ticket contract and begin doing everything for the games. i will continue where you leave off on this. (or if he comes during my shift, i'll start the ticket list and then you can continue on friday where I leave off on it) :D wooohoo finally getting more ticat tickets in.
To do tomorrow:
- new ticket --> respond with info right when you get in. do this first so we can get the ball rolling. they may get back to us during my shift if you reply to them early enough
- Christmas slide --> update me on this please :)
- check in with debbie about the PO and if our plan is okay
- update me on scavenger hunt details so i can be aware in case our CSRs ever ask me questions
- reply to the hotel dude only after speaking to debbie first to see if this is something we want compass associated with.
