-he is going to send us an FAQ sheet, a pdf poster for the slide and website, and possible a blurb to post on the website too!

- did cheque rec, put it under debbie's door
had to so some confusing greyhound ticket thingy which took up time on my shfit, i ended up getting debbie and we sat and figured it out haha.
i literally got nothing done today bc of all the crap i had to sort out :(
i also had that meeting with sinthuka, answered her questions, she wanted the admin fee taken away for her tickets bc proceeds go to charity, i talked to debbie and we discussed it but in the end we cant do that. it would be unfair to other groups and would open the doors for all other groups to ask us to do the same and we really wouldnt be able to say no those other groups if we said yes to this group
im stressing about calling jerry. ive called him twice and he didnt answer. so i emailed him and asked him to call me or come in and see me

I'm 99% positive we have lots of decorations in the box from last year's Vday, so we wont need anything more.

I got the big package of like 10 sharpies of all different colours :) these will be ours only. the staff wont get them bc last time we gave them our sharpies they left the caps off and they all dried out ... which is why we have zero, i threw them all out the week after the last Customer Appreciation Week last semester.

ran out of stuff to do near the end of my shift so i went on twitter, "followed" everyone who recently followed up.. im trying to make sure we are reciprocating so people are more likely to stay as our followers. i go on every week or so and do this

- PS for your information section, the passwords is included in that section, make sure you add the Linken account to the chart (i wrote it in pencil on our IC manual bc it wasnt included, so just make sure u include it in the chart for next years ICs).. look at our copy of passwords in our IC manual and you will see the username and passoword that i wrote..... OH also include the instagram info.. i forget if that is on their or not. Just in case it hasn't been added, it is MSU_Compass, password csr123

- we got the registration form but it doesnt say anything on it so idk if it includes a limit (i.e., do we print out 1 sheet and that is the limit for the event? or does he want us to print out two sheets--one for pairs and one for individuals? idk bc nothing is on the sheet to indicate these things). he only sent us one chart.
- until he responds, im not putting this out bc i dont wanna mess anything up
- look at IC checklist to see what i did and you can finish what i didnt get time to do :)
- brought updated floats to desk (i did this yesterday too lol)
- Note: I edited the registration form, I made two charts: one is for individual registration and one is for paired (the charts are on separate pages with titles distinguishing that they are individual vs. paired). Once he confirms that this is how he wants to do it, then we can put it down at the desk. idk why he wouldn't send us forms friggen prepared already instead of just boxes that don't indicate anything.... All we are waiting on is limits (i.e., is registration what the pages fill up orrrrrr?). I dont wanna make the mistake of filling up two separate sheets if he actually has a limit of one sheet.

-apparently they have been telling people and advertising that the course is on sale at compass for a few days now because CSRs keep telling me that many people have been asking - they have been telling everyone that it will be advertised once it is on sale.
-the only thing im missing from them is the sign up sheet for people to fill out when they pay because without this jerry wont have names or contact info for anyone
-finally talked to Jerry - he should have sent us the registration forms - so if you want to start setting everything up for these sales (everything is same as last time) then go for it, but if not then i can do it on my shift!

- I noticed that the CPR stuff wasn't updated on the EOD so I did this for you. where are you on that contract? I didn't see a print out but I saw it in the email. im leaving this with u bc you've been the main contact for him and idk whats going on.
- I updated the EOD and removed all old stuff when I was adding humanities formal to it

- see check list. everything is done except I haven't put out the tickets yet bc I realized there was an issue with the tickets. see my last email to them. once they confirm what they wanna do, then we will put it on the website and on the com journal post for staff and thennnn the tickets can go out. I don't want to put the tickets out until I know what they wanna do to solve this issue.
OKAY
- she got back to me near the end of my shift, she is printing 20 more tickets for us of the 6.00 ticket type (so we will have 20 of the $6 tickets and 40 of the $11 tickets), but since there is limited seating on the bus, we can only sell 40 tickets TOTAL.
- you and I will put out 20 of each ticket type when we finally get them onto RED only. we all have to be so so so careful and make sure only 40 tickets are sold total, or else we will have a problem.

- she got back to me near the end of my shift, she is printing 20 more tickets for us of the 6.00 ticket type (so we will have 20 of the $6 tickets and 40 of the $11 tickets), but since there is limited seating on the bus, we can only sell 40 tickets TOTAL.
- you and I will put out 20 of each ticket type when we finally get them onto RED only. we all have to be so so so careful and make sure only 40 tickets are sold total, or else we will have a problem.

-met with the planners and went over the ticket contract and the details of the event/ticket sales

-all this is is Cindy dropping off the envelopes for us to leave at the desk and on jan 27 and 28 her students will be coming to the desk as part of their scavenger hunt to collect the envelopes. the groups each have a colour and they pick up the envelope with their colour on it.

- and were did you put the photo copy of the master sheet that i made?
- started internal transfer
- you removed the right to play stuff from the RMS but you didnt write on the contract the numbers. i had the numbers written on that sheet but idk where you (or one of the guys) put that sheet ... so i recalled from memory what i think the numbers are lol.. which i may be remembering incorrectly. so when u get in please post what the hard inventory numbers are (that u figured out yesterday) so i can make sure i didn't use the wrong numbers in the internal transfer
- once i confirm the numbers from you the internal transfer will be ready to submit. :D

- contacted the CSR closing on green today and told them to move their CB tickets to red at the end of their shift at 5pm today. i explained the procedure step by step (i.e., what to write on their float and on red's float and to make sure they initial it etc).
- Al is sending us a poster thing sometime today to put up when we sell out. I havent gotten it yet during my shift. it will be a sold out poster. so we can just print it up here and post it when we sell out (this may happen on ur shift... if not, print out a copy or 2 and leave it at the desk, then contact whoever is closing on red and let them to know post it if/when they sell out. they can put one on the window and one on the board --- make sure they remove all CB advertisements, such as the posters we have up on the board between red and green windows)

- yes i'm having him edit the compass logo graphics so we can have a large compass sign on each of the 32 boards. we can print it out up here on regular paper.

New contract
- new contract came in as I was leaving.
- its registration to some CPR course.
- individual registration is 70$, but if 2 people register together it's 65 per person. there are two forms (one for individual and one for pairs)
- can you do this and get it on sale at the desk? ill do the website when I get in tomorrow.
spotlight -- advertising/selling through compass board
- finished up what I want on this board (information/text wise). I was thinking of putting images up but I don't see a point with this one since it's just info. the summer and other ticket boards can have pictures if we want tho -- makes more sense on those one.
- P.S. I made a "spotlight" folder yesterday, feel free to use it for ur board. just make sure to title your documents clearly so we don't confuse anything. :)
- paper on desk is what we are able to use for the boards, if u want, since we only have 2 colours, feel free to use the yellow/blue/green at the front of the office too for your boards.
- printed out almost everything for all 11 boards for the advertising/selling board (used blue and pink paper) -- but as I went to print the title (i.e., the "compass" header for the top centre of each board) the printer ran out of toner... so I have to finish this Monday or whenever they get new toner in). uuuggghhh I really wanted to finish this today!!!
- made sure your boards have a compass header on each one (top centre, like the elevator board) -- actually leave this for me i'll make 32 of these headers for us so it is all consistent :) -- only bc I have to call underground to have this done

- Started this. there are 32 boards we have to create. it will be a death sentence if we make 32 different boards. so instead, what I decided we will do is make 3 boards and we will just make a bunch of each for them to put up throughout the different buildings. To make them a bit different, we can use different colours on the papers of each board to make them stand out (i.e., some can be blue, some can be green, some red, some pink, etc just so the boards don't all look the exact same).

(2) Summer attraction passes
(3) Events (i.e., MSU events, formals, etc + constant tickets such as Cineplex and city pass)

new ticket- real com journal for info- 1 thing they didnt know is if they wanted to do +HST or tax included, they wanted to talk to their accountant first. so we are waiting back to hear that. when they respond, please put it on the RMS and update the things i already did: (see below)- the EOD needs to be updated (i just put in all the info, like the names, ticket types, and prices, but i didn't do the total calculation column bc i didn't know if it was +HST or not)- website i already did but it needs to be update with tax info -- please put +HST or *all prices include tax on the website directly under the prices once u find out- com journal -- please add this to the post i made for the CSRs, i have the stuff from the website in the post, so just add + HST or *all prices include tax there too.- please put on the PP.- when they bring you the form (they are making the "captain form" for us as i asked them to make it). put it in the black folder on the LEFT side where the blue stick note is (place it behind the little fold where it can sit securely). once that is done, bring the folder down to the desk and put it in red's folder (make sure the RMS is set before u bring it down). - i put the contract for the desk in the black folder just chilling inside, put that in the binder at the desk when you bring down the folder. - when the folder and contract are at the desk, everything will be ready to start sales so go back on the website and go to the event tickets, at the bottom of the post for this event i have "registration begins TBA" -- change it to "registration begins Jan.....(insert date)"they want this ticket on sale asap today so please get this new ticket done before you do anything else. my meeting with them went long so i lost time during my shift. and they havent gotten back to me yet about the tax stuff

- remember a long time ago we got that invitation to do the spotlight thing where compass would go on all the boards in the residence buildings for the month of feb or march? i forget which month. we need to go get those emails and review them and start preparing. so we need to know how many boards there are and how large they are and start getting material printed and prepared for them. this is something we both gotta work on asap!!!!! we can't miss this. can you please go get those emails (print them off maybe) and start preparing for this and planning what we should put on each board? and if u can, start putting together the stuff. im gunna work on this religiously too. if we can quickly get this all put together, we can hand it over to the organizer and get it off our hands completely, leaving us free to to everything else we gotta do , like the IC manual.

- talked to him, his ppl left the tickets in Toronto by accident so they are trying to get them here for tomorrow morning
- we sold out of tickets at 1:44, i text Al and told him. we put up a sign saying "temporarily sold out of charity ball tickets, please check back tomorrow morning"
