I was able to complete the following on Monday: 

- Give cheque to Macceplla 

- Order more Bulldog tickets 

- Updated the slides and website and remove all go transit advertisement 

- Cleaned office desk 

- Advertisement on Go transit changes

- Plan next semester - take a look at the calendar on our desk - add anything you think we should do

- There was a problem with the cheque that was given for MISA - I put in another request for the cheque to be done - it may arrive after the break. just follow up with accounting to see where it's at.

I hope you guys are having a fantastic start to your roles!

This role can be challenging but really exciting and a great learning opportunity as well. I have learned so much and will be taking a lot with me. Don't forget to have fun and really test out your creativity with this position, it really allows you to do that. Additionally, don't be afraid to ask for clarification with Debbie or anyone else. Sometimes its better to double check!

Hope you guys have fun and make the same friendships I did! This is a really rewarding job.

- updated slideshow, twitter and facebook slide about HSr U-pass cards will not be given out next year so they need to hold on to it (in email)
- emailed humanities society to pick up cheque - but they're unresponsive - try emailing them again otherwise give the cheque to debbie!
- i went to accounting to pick up gospel choir cheque but they said someone picked it up so im assuming its debbie IDK - maybe go tom and check with them again if not then just email debbie about that too!


Things To Do:

- also I cuoldnt find the beach event ticket contract - i didnt do the internal transfer so im not sure (i check in the cupboard where all our contracts our filed but its not there)
- PO for permanent white marker for our new boards so we can write "property of compass" on them (debbie said to check the nevexco book)
- I also still have the humanities formal cheque and its the second drawer paperclipped to the contract (so debbie told me that last year the mcmaster humanities society didnt cash out their cheque that was worth $7000 cause the cheque expires after a duration of 6 months!     -> A simple whiteboard is so expensive .... like $800-$3000 .... I think Staples is the cheaper option since we're only paying $400 .... way better than paying over $800. Let me know what you think! 

I've been looking at whiteboards with IBuy office supplies ... and they have really good prices! I've left some tabs open for you and also printed them and left them by the computer on your left! Debbie's just concerned cause shes never purchased anything from iBuy so we don't know how durable they are! I've also tried adding them to the shopping cart to make a purchase and the price is in Canadian dollars!

So Debbie came to me and said she'd rather order the 2 whiteboards from the book, ive left the page open for you and the potential whiteboards are labelled on the green sticky! Take a look and see which ones you'd like to order! We have $4000 in our budget and she said we've only used like $100 so as long as this whiteboard is going to last a long time she doesn't mind spending money on these boards.
